Are you looking for a great new spot for lunch or dinner? Check out Little Horse Tavern, offering elevated versions of classic American fare from the culinary team behind Philadelphia’s Fitler Club. Named for Hall of Famer Charlie “Little Horse” Sifford, the first Black golfer on the PGA Tour, LHT honors Sifford and his legacy at the place he called his home course.

Are you eager for more? The Q School Short Course, Cobbs Creek’s 9-hole, par 3 course by Tiger Woods’ TGR Design, will open in early spring as soon as weather permits. The Lincoln Financial Center will also officially open the Heritage Center, a museum space honoring the storied history of Cobbs Creek, this coming summer.

The Best Part:

All revenue generated across our campus supports our education programs and community work. Cobbs Creek Golf & Education Campus functions as a self-sustaining nonprofit under the direction of the Cobbs Creek Foundation—driven by your participation and philanthropy.

THE LINCOLN FINANCIAL CENTER

Your Home for
Practice and Play

Named for one of our founding partners, the Lincoln Financial Center has quickly become the heart of the Cobbs Creek Golf & Education Campus. This 42,000 square foot central structure, designed by EwingCole, houses our 68 Driving Range bays with TopTracer technology (including 20 heated, reservable bays), the Pro Shop, and Little Horse Tavern, which Executive Chef Adam Carson is quickly establishing as a premier restaurant for the area.

The Heritage Center—a museum space celebrating the historic journey of Cobbs Creek—will be the next major addition, opening later in 2026.

THE Q SCHOOL SHORT COURSE

Philadelphia’s Got
Short Game

In the backyard of the Smilow Woodland TGR Learning Lab sits the Q School: our 9-hole, par 3 short course by Tiger Woods’ TGR Design. Made possible through the philanthropy of Philadelphia locals Frank Quattrone and Denise Foderaro, the Q School’s 750-yard, USGA-rated layout is designed to challenge seasoned players without losing playability accessible to beginners—making it a destination for golfers of all skill levels.

The Q School will open as soon as weather permits this spring.

SMILOW WOODLAND TGR LEARNING LAB

Education Programs
Geared for the Future

A national spotlight shone on Cobbs Creek on Monday, September 8, as golfing legend Tiger Woods, Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro, Philadelphia Mayor Cherelle Parker, and dozens of invited community leaders officially opened the SmilowWoodlandTGRLearning Lab to great fanfare.

The Learning Lab, the second of its kind, will serve more than 7,500 Philadelphia students in grades 1-12 every year through STEAM programming, college and career readiness courses, and more.

“I’m excited to work with the Cobbs Creek Foundation and the Philadelphia community on this special project that combines my passions: golf and supporting youth through education. Through the campus, we will provide meaningful education opportunities for local youth while expanding access to the game I love.”

Your Participation
Matters

Every dollar spent at Cobbs Creek is an investment: the net revenue from all our on-campus activities will support our educational and community programming. We estimate 285,000 visitors will come to the new Cobbs Creek Campus annually, with even greater estimates for future professional events—which could come as early as 2029.

That’s impact.

Golf at Cobbs Creek will change lives. Young people and our neighbors will be the winners.
